Sausage & Bean Stew

This dish is so easy: Just brown your favorite smoked sausage, toss the ingredients together, and let the slow cooker do the rest. All you need to round out the meal is a simple green salad and loaf of crusty bread.

Sausage & Bean Stew
Instructions
  1. Heat ZIMGOLD Vegetable Oil in a pan and brown sausages, remove and set aside.
  2. Fry chopped onion until translucent,
  3. add carrots and mushrooms and simmer for 4 minutes.
  4. Add fried sausages, stir in stock, puree and mixed herbs, simmer for another 5-7 minutes.
  5. Add the drained beans and cornflour mix and cover pan with lid.
  6. Allow to cook for a further 10 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle chopped parsley and serve with steamed white rice, mashed potato or sadza.
